How are you finding life in Australia?

Other than arriving to a turbulent Ashes defeat, it has so far been a lot of fun. Getting the ferry home in the sun on Sydney harbour, heading out to Jervis Bay for the weekend, going straight to the beach after work; the experience is something I would recommend to everyone.

What is your role at Client Server?

My role is to seek out the best talent possible for our clients. I split my time between connecting candidates and clients, building up a new network to help the growth of Client Server’s brand in Australia and expanding on the great work Associate Director David Leadbitter has done here in laying the foundations.

As an Account Manager I am responsible for a number of key accounts, bringing on new business, building on our established networks, as well as learning the local technology landscape and helping to grow our internal team.

What are you excited for at Client Server?

I think the real excitement for this secondment is to be part of a small team that David and I can grow to really push Client Server’s ethos globally. Client Server is at a very exciting stage in its growth and to be able to have a direct impact on the success of the business is very rewarding.

What will you miss about the UK?

Whilst I do miss London’s uniqueness and the friends I have there, the excitement of new experiences will keep the idea of missing the UK away for a while!
