Specialising in creating and providing software to simplify data analysis and reporting, this growing Australian company are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with 5+ years’ experience, who will assist in the continual improvement of their development efficiency and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Joining their expanding engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring higher quality releases and bring prior experience across CI/CD pipelines to improve development efficiency. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience with infrastructure as code and implement solutions and optimisations in AWS and Azure including management of reserved VM instances.
This senior role will be hands-on and will offer the opportunity to mentor junior team members and provide effective support and guidance to stakeholders on DevOps and Software Engineering related concerns. You will also manage and resolve problems in relation to R server builds and the in-house testing system.
Role Requirements:
- Fluency in a scripting language, preferably Python
- Automation implementation experience using shell script
- Knowledge in administration of Windows and Linux
- Experience with both cloud architecture and cloud networking
- Candidates with experience, or knowledge of, container orchestration systems and containerisation, preferably Kubernetes and Docker are highly desirable but not essential
