Rapidly expanding global Big Data analytics tech company helping to combat financial crime are seeking an outstanding Business Development Representative to help drive their current expansion into the Asia Pacific region and to be the first BDR within a growing team in Australia, based in Melbourne.

 

The successful candidate will play an instrumental part in this next phase of growth within areas such as, Financial Services, Insurance, Telco and Government and resolve major issues within their Contextual Decision Intelligence platform. You will be self-motivated and bring your experience in enterprise B2B software solutions to work alongside Executive/C-Suite contacts across IT and Data compliance as well as the marketing team and enterprise account executives to maximise your success. You will create new accounts and meet and set qualified marketing-generated leads for the enterprise sales team, simultaneously noting their business needs using detailed and thoughtful questioning.

 

In this role you will generate sales ready leads using multiple means, including outbound cold calling and will use salesforce to log all sales-related activity. Someone who is motivated and works to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly goals to ensure a steady pipeline is maintained will exceed.

 

Role requirement:

  • 8+ months experience in a 360-enterprise sales role
  • A high degree of self-motivation and professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Strong organizational, planning and execution skills
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Navigator a bonus, but not required
