Healthy HabitsPosted 7 months ago by George Grieve

Stepping into the corporate world after 5 years of being a PT is a big change, hours change, new responsibilities, different obstacles, but one thing I’ve tried to keep consistent is some form of exercise.

I know what you’re thinking “here we go, another lecture from a PT about eating chicken and broccoli for lunch and dinner then hitting a 2 hour workout each day”… no. But some form of exercise is essential, especially when you have a job that requires you to be at a desk for up to 8 hours per day.

Whether that is a morning run, Pilates before work, gym after work or even just getting out and going for a walk during lunch. Find something that works for you, as some form of exercise is essential to help you stay healthy both physically and mentally, as well as to perform your job as best you can.

Here at Client Server we ran the Sydney Marathon 10k last weekend, and it’s fair to say that the thought of going in to that day un-prepared made all of us get out and exercise a bit more, which is always a good thing.

Speaking of the 10k, if you are feeling like doing something good today, it would be amazing if you could donate a couple of dollars to a great cause.
