Global investment management company with over $50billion in assets are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to work within their Global IT function. You will provide IT infrastructure support to their offices in Australia and Asia and have the ability to work in a collaborative company with a fantastic global reach.
This role will call on you to handle diverse support requests from investment professionals, operational teams, and software developers, providing practical solutions that are highly tailored to the needs of the business. This role will involve day-today multi-level support, monitoring complex in-house systems, desktop PC upgrades and deployments, server upgrades and the like. You will need to assess client needs and prioritise appropriately.
You will get an opportunity to work with AWS, Azure and M365. Larger projects will be working with Active Directory and Powershell scripting. You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and have relevant education and/or experience in IT or previous experience in a similar helpdesk/support role. This person is eager to learn and will thrive in a team environment and is comfortable with working from the office at least 4 days a week.
