Lead Data Engineer

Technical Lead / Lead Data Engineer – Up to $170,000SGD + bonus

This modern global data analytics tech software company help to combat fraud and financial crime by giving organizations the ability to harness their data and uncover hidden risk's, allowing them to discover proactive ways to utilize it. They are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join their Singaporean division and contribute to their international success and portfolio.

Whilst remaining hands-on, you will be providing technical leadership, mentor other Data Engineers and be responsible for project delivery to drive their deliver a first-class service to clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, delivering complex projects in enterprise companies, including major banks, using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Scala and Elasticsearch, with their platform being hosted on Google cloud (GCP)

Key Requirements:

 

• Extensive data engineering experience.
• Highly skilled with Big Data technologies, such as Spark, Hadoop and Elasticsearch.
• Comfortable programming in Scala.
• Ideally experienced with data platforms hosted on Google Cloud (GCP).
• Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to other Data Engineers.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise Agile data projects.
• Ideally experience with AML/KYC.
• Ideally experience working in, or with senior stakeholders in, banking/finance.
• Experience of building data processing pipelines for use in production “hands off” batch systems, including either traditional ETL pipelines and/or analytics pipelines.
