2021 was a record year for Client Server Australia, and I genuinely believe the best is yet to come.
The buoyant nature of the technology landscape in Australia appears to remain unabated. We’ve started 2022 with a large number of roles to fill, and it’s been interesting to see how our clients are approaching recruitment. I’ve been pleased (and pleasantly surprised) to see that some clients are suggesting ways to incentivise us to continue to supply them with high calibre candidates.
Yes, it’s tempting to try the new shiny recruitment toy. But if you have a recruitment partner that you trust and who has consistently delivered over many years, how can you ensure they continue to prioritise your needs in a hugely competitive market? Are you wholly transparent and comprehensive in communicating your hiring plans now and over the next 12 months? Have you mutually agreed to a strategy that will give you the best chance of meeting your hiring goals?
At Client Server we’re growing every part of our business – Australia, the UK, Europe and now sowing the seeds of a Singapore desk. We’re also investing in all areas, improving our infrastructure and providing the opportunity for everyone to progress in the direction they choose.
Within the business, we are bidding a temporary farewell to our Operations Executive, Kristina Gerdov, as she goes on maternity leave. Since joining us a year ago, Kris has made a massive impact, helping us hire some excellent consultants, to name but one of her many achievements. She will miss her, but we look forward to welcoming her back soon!
The recent arrival of my first child has reinforced my belief that life is precious, so make the most of it! I feel very fortunate to be part of a company that values everyone’s contribution and cares about you and your family. I’m excited about the future – bring it on!
