As an Engineering Manager you will head up a team of 5 &ndash; 10 highly skilled Software Engineers across APAC, within the Product Engineering division to provide expertise on secure coding practices ensuring that security is built into the fabric of the product.

You&rsquo;ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to priorities requests, plan the roadmap and ensure the team can deliver, you&rsquo;ll influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with your team to ensure successful strategy execution. You will be an advocate of engineering and Agile software development best practices, conducting code reviews and cultivating a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing whilst remaining hands-on with coding.

Requirements:
You have experience of working with Secure linux distribution. You will understand the software lifecycle. You have a strong understanding of scalable, distributed systems. You have experience of leading, mentoring, coaching and recruiting talented Software Engineers within Agile team environments. You can plan, execute and deliver on software development projects. You&rsquo;re comfortable collaborating across teams and with senior stakeholders. You have excellent English language communication skills.

You will be joining the growing Sydney team and work alongside Australia's best technology-led consumer lending and investing platform.

The role will be a blend of Operations and Risk with a mixture of incident and alert monitoring, along with security reviews, user access, rights and permission. You will be the person for managing security and ISO 27001 standards.

As an experienced Data Scientist, you will be a self-starter who is nosey about data and wants to not just implement the models but wants to find the answers.
